how frequent to change the calcium dish?

hey guys, i had a dish of calcium powder ( cuttlebone) in my tank 24/7. may i jus ask how long i may need to change the calcium dish? thanks

I honestly don't really change them unless I see them getting dirty. I don't know if calcium powder goes bad either. Once they're empty (which takes a long time) I do rinse them out and add new powder.

I change it every month. When I bleech my tanks at the end of the month thats when I change it.

I usually change them every month also when I do the full cleanse.

I also change them when they get empty. Breeding females seem to eat it non stop though so I only do it for them after a few top offs.
