Hoping someone can help me with this...I am planning on raising dubia roaches, and I am wondering what size container I'll need to house and maintain a colony to feed just a single leopard gecko, I want to keep it as small as possible, but still have a constant supply for feeding.

Thanks for any input.

You can keep a small colony of dubia in a 15 qt. I house mine in either 15, 32, or 64qt sterilite tubs. all do well with it just add heat, egg crates and food.

Key thing is the egg crates. hot glue a couple or four on top of each other. This increases available square footage of a small container.

I started with about 250 dubias and a few adults. It was a slow start......air is equally important....heat tape on the bottom is not always enough, you'll have to experiment what works best for you. But once the colony starts, there is no looking back.

I am now feeding my 9 geckos off the colony. No more crickets
