How long can they go without heat?

Our power went out last night from a nice little storm and I didn't bother getting them to a house with power because it's summer and I figured the power would only be out for a night. Now I wake up and find there is still no power.

It is about seventy two outside right now and will probably rise to the high eighties but its not gonna get quite that hot in my room. Should I move them today or will they be fine another day and night?

Not to worry! I had a gecko escapee loose for over 6 weeks without heat, and she was just fine. Also, some people 'cool' their geckos for a few months during winter. I would let the gecko warm up when the power comes back on before feeding, though.

I agree with golden gate on the heating up before eating thing... also agree that in dayton I really don't think you've got too much to worry about right now. They should be fine. Let us know how it goes...

Glad to hear all went well Hank... did it really take like 2 days to get your power back on? Didn't think things were that messed up in Ohio with this last round of storms that came thru...

Dennis your gecko room is blazing. He probably had a blast running around. Ever find all his waste?

There was this storm that was about five or six blocks wide that just went down a straight line and snapped down trees, uprooted trees, bent flagpoles along with the power line poles. We also seemed to be the last ones to get power every time too lol.
