how long does it take

I was wondering how long it could take the little guy to get out of his egg. This little cut has been like this since early this morning. Its not 11 at night and its still the same. The slit hasnt opened any in so long. I was wondering if this is normal or should i maybe help him out by cutting it open?

sometimes, the baby will stay like that for a day. you can peap it alitle to see if its ok. if its ok leave it alone. it will come out eventually.
