I have five females that I mated to a mack snow male. The first female was bred on 1/28/09 and the second 2/1/09 and they have already laid two clucthes each. The third bred on 2/24/09, then the fourth on 2/27/09 and the fifth on 3/11/09. The one who mated on the 27th laid her first clutch today, but the one that mated on the 24th still has yet to lay. I know she has eggs in her, because I can see them. I am worried though because it has been over a month and the one that bred after her laid already.
Is this an okay amount of time for her to carry eggs, or should I continue to worry?
