How long per pairing?

How long do you keep a male in with a female to be sure they have mated? I have heard a day and some say much longer. ??

It depends on your setup. We house all our geckos individually. We put the male in with the female, and watch to make sure nature takes it's course. Once the male has cleaned himself up he is returned to his own tub. There are other members here who do breeding colonies. They will put a male in with several females, and house them that way throughout the breeding season. Since this is not a method we use, I will leave it to those who use a colony method to explain their setups and timeframes.

I just put my male in the females tub, and left him in there over night. I didnt see them copulating, but i have a baby gecko now, with more eggs on the way
