how long untill another ovulation?

my female ss just stopped ovulating last week and started eating again so i fattened her up. well today i offered crickets and she showed no interest so i checked her and i noticed a nice big ovulation dot. is that normal for her to ovulate again so soon.? i paired her up with my sunglow and shes not showing any interest in him.. she still does her tail wag towards him, but i know for a fact shes ovulating.. what should i do? should i keep them together for the night and hope he breeds or should i separate them i dont want to cause a fight.

Best thing IMO is to introduce them. If she stays still, and does not bite the male, or run away, then it is ok to leave them together. Just keep an eye on them. I am having an experience with an aggressive female. She ejected the male, and then when he did not stop, started biting. I had to wait, and introduce them for short periods of time, until finally she accepted him, and they mated. And yes, she was ovulating.
