How many mealworms?

I got my leopard gecko roughly a month ago. He's about 2 months old (Estimate from a member on here). I'll feed him about 5-9 crickets per day. I read that i shouldn't feed him meal worms until he's fully grown but i've also heard lots of people go against this as well. also, if all he's fed is crickets his whole life, why would he go after a worm when he's fully grown? Anyway, I was thinking of getting some mealies and was wondering the equivalent of about 5-9 crickets in mealworm form!

I have fed my 1 1/2 old gecko nothing but mealies her entire life. A good start off point is 10 in a dish with a slice of fruit or veg. for them. Adjust amount as necessary.

You can refrigerate mealworms and just take them out once or twice a week to gutload them with carrots for a day, then place them back in. The 10 mealworms you leave in a dish should last 2-3 days before they pupate. So if your gecko doesn't eat them in a couple of days, put them back into the container to be refrigerated and swap out some fresh ones.
