Hey guys I haven't posted here in a long time, but I now need some advice. I am leaving on Thanksgiving vacation and won't be back in 3 or 4 days and I am leaving my Leopard Gecko at home. I was wondering how many Superworms should I leave in his tank for the period that I am away? Any input would be greatly appreciated! God Bless - Moefv

When I went to Minnesota during the spring I put about 25 mealworms in a escape proof dish in my leos tank and put 2 water dishes full for the 4 days I was gone. She did fine.

I think the meal worms in a dish are a good idea. Superwoem diet for 2-4 days would not be a healthy option in my opinion.
There are some very big breeders that only feed superworms and there geckos do great.

I guess it would depend on how many your gecko normally eats per day. I feed mealworms and not supers but when I go out of town for a few days (3-4) I give all my geckos about two days worth of mealworms and that's it. If it is a sub-adult or adult that is a healthy weight if it goes a day or two without food its not a big deal at all. Just make sure it has access to water and it will be fine.

i have been regularly out of town for every 4-5 days and my geckos all do fine. I put a big bowl of water, a bowl of 20 super worms and they do fine.
