How many?

I saw the post about how many mealworms all of your leos would eat in a night. I throw about 35 - 40 malworms in a tank with my 3 babies that are growing like crazy. Is that too little? I feed them around 9 at night and the next morning around 6 they are gone. On a different site someone told me that was way too many, but I never reduced it because they always cleaned out the bowl. Should I be giving them more? If some of your leos eat about 30 a night mine must be starving. I am also going to start buying silkworms and pheonix worms online. I see that they sell 1000 mealies for like $6 online. What do you recommend I do? Should I get them or do you think that it is not worth it? I only have 3 geckos, but I go through about 5-6 little tubbies of the 50 mealies from the petstore a week. I buy them all at one time and they seem to last in my fridge. Do you think that 1000 melaies will last for almost 2 months in my fridge? How will they eat if they go dormant in the fridge? Should I let them warm up once a week or something and toss some apples and potatos or that stuff in there? Is the stuff they come in good enough or should I buy some other stuff to gut load them with? Sorry for all the questions but I just seem to be learning more everyday and I want them to be healthy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they're all gone, put more. You can never feed babies too much.

I always stock my mealie dishes with the assumption that a good ten or so will be left over.

Kevin's right. It's pretty hard to overfeed leos, especially if they're babies. Feed them as much as they want. Just remember to dust them with calcium and vitamins.

I dust them with vitamins once a week. A vitamin supplement with D3 and Phosphorus in it, I'm not sure of the name right now. I do not dust them with calcium because there is a dish of calcium in the enclosure. This is pure Calcium, no D3 or P. Is this enough or should I dust with calcium and vits and leave the bowl in there?
