Its been bugging me for a while but how often does everyone feed there leos and how many crickets/mealworms do they eat at any given feeding

My leos are about 7 month to 14 month old and im just wondering how much they should be eating about?

And about how long do you let them feed for?

For JVs up to 10 or 12 months.

Crickets 5 to 10 - (DUST THE CRICKETS and don't forget to gutload)

And leave a bowl of mealys in the cage too (DUST THEM TOO).

Leave some Calcium in a dish.

I have a female (Snowy) that was hatched in July 2008 and she weighed 45 grams on 11/25/08. I feed her every day ... 5 to 8 crickets, access to some mealies, and I have also fed her some other stuff for fun and variety.

I have heard that at about 40 grams they start to eat every other day but, it has not happened yet.

But, I have missed some days but, usually it is every day.

In my opinion you shouldnt feed a set number that you decide upon yourself. Adults should be fed as much as theyll eat 2-3 times a week and hatchlings/juvies should be fed as much as they will eat everyday. They should be fed for 10-15 minutes or until they decide theyre full. How much they eat depends on the gecko. When mine was growing she would eat 20+ med-large mealworms a day. Now as an adult she eats ~3 roaches every other day.
