How much is enough?

For you more experienced folks, I've got a young leo (3-4 weeks as best I can tell) and was just wondering how much it should be eating.

I feed it small to medium sized gut-loaded mealies and the occasional wax worm.

Currently it eats about 4 mealies in a 24 hr period, if thats too little, I can try to arrange his feeding setup so its more attractive or consider getting some crickets. Thanks...

It is perfectly fine to let them eat what they want. If they eat to much, they may vomit, but will realize not to eat so much next time. They will learn how much they can handle. Variety is always good, but if you use crickets, do not let them stay in the tank longer than about 30 minutes. It is perfectly fine to leave mealworms in the tank 24/7 (in an escape-proof dish).

definitely take that advice...crickets can bite your leo. they also may lay eggs in the humid hide or elsewhere and you'll have little baby crickets running around.

the leo will eat till its full. make sure it's not losing weight though.
