How much/often should I be feeding?

Hello everyone! I have two young leos, approx. 6 months old. One is definitely growing significantly faster than the other. I'm feeding about 4-5 days in a week due to my work schedule. Typically the bigger Leo (Lana) eats anywhere from 10-15 meal worms a feeding. The other smaller Leo (Duchess), didn't eat for about 3 weeks when I first got her from the previous owner; but now is eating between 7-10 meal worms each feeding.

I know juvenile leos eat more and need to be fed more often, but i just want to be sure I'm not over feeding. Lana weighed in last week at 15.9 grams and Duchess at 10.2grams.

I am gut loading my worms on cricket feed for now. There is calcium with d3 supplement in the cage available at all times and I put a little in with the gut load on my worms each new batch.

Lana is also a more aggressive eater. I can keep them pretty even dropping a worm at Lana and then while she's chewing and what not dropping one to duchess. But last night Lana nipped at duchess while I was feeding them. Is this normal?

Any other thoughts?

Thanks guys! I love my leos! This forum has made my new hobby so much more fun! :)

They are cute!! Looks like Lana is going to be aggressive. From reading this post, it sounds like they are in the same cage. I suggest separate and let them have their own space. I think you will see the smaller one improve. Duchess maybe stressed being in the same cage. I think your feeding is fine. I feed mine everyday until they reach 35-40, and then start cutting back.

I agree completely with scm133. Almost always it's a matter of them being in the cage together. But it's good that it's eating.

I have been doing some reading, is it possible that adding a 3rd female would even out the aggression? I have learned that I need to get another warm hide, sharing a hide isn't something that will happen from my understanding right? This might also even out the aggression yes? Also, I've been feeding them separately, taking one out of the cage and feeding the other etc. Duchess is doing much better. Any other thoughts? I really don't want to split them up.....

I don't think that adding another gecko would even out the aggression if there is already an aggressor in the tank. Adding another hide might help but, I think the best idea is to just get another tank and seperate them.
