How nutritious?

I have a mealworm colony going now and was wondering if my colony gets too big if i would be able to feed off some of the beatles? my question is if the beatles have any nutritional value. i wouldnt want to feed the beatles to my geckos if the beatles were unhealthy. thanks

The beetles don`t have a very high nutritional value and their shells are very hard and don`t digest well.if your colony gets to big then just try to sell them (worms) or you could feed them to birds or use them as fishing bait..... I just wouldn`t feed beetles to the gecko.

I've fed the brown beetles to my geckos before no problem. James I have never seen a nutrition status for these but I don't imagine there any better then there larvae. Could you please share where you got you got the information?
