right now with 11 leos, at 4 supers every other day, i am going through 500 supers *roughly* every 11 feedings. that doesnt last long, and at $20 for a 500 i was curious as to what everyone was doing. do you buy from a petstore? online? how many supers do you give each feeding and how often do you feed them? thanks

I breed all my own feeders :D but every month I seem to be adding a feeder to the list of feeders i breed... About 20 bucks a month but then again I do want to have a feeder farm lolol.

I feed supers and I get them from Grubco. I know what you mean though. I have 11 also and but I only give my females 2 at a time. Its basically the same as you. But they don't last long do they......Good luck

Now I am going through from 200-500 dubia roaches a day and the colony cost less than $20 a month to feed, I would not be able to buy crickets.

of my 19 leos i think i go threw
-25 supers a night
- 24 crickets AT least a night
- 50-70 mealworms a night(left in a dish)
-25 or so "red racers" or dubia roachs depending on who.
- and atleast 40 wax worms a week
I have a few very picky eaters who wont eat this or that. One of mine wont eat anything but crickets where as another wont anything but red racers so i do go threw a bit a night. I dont even wanna THINK about how much i go threw a week@.@

I buy my mealworms(before my colony got started) and superworms(still working on them) from grubco.com great shipping and not a single dead one. I buy my crickets from my pet store as its just a bother to ship them. and i buy my dubia roachs from yourroachguy.com and my red racers from aronpauling.com(i think im not 100% on that as i only needed to order once before my colony got big)

Look into breeding feeders yourself. Especially mealies, it's been so worth it for us, and we only have about 9 geckos right now. I also breed crickets (stinky but also worth it).
I store all the feeders (except crix) right next to the geckos, so it's scoop and go!
