How often does your leo shed and how old is it?

Mine shed on Thanksgiving for the first time. I'm curious when the next one will be.

I have never actually seen my leos shed!
A few days ago, I noticed one of my males was "white", ready
for a shed. I sprayed down his moist hide really well.
The next day, he had finished his shed and was bright and colorful.
The only evidence was a small piece of skin left in the moist hide.

This is only the second time I have seen one turn white! and before
I know it, it's all over!!

So, to answer your question, I really dont know how often.
Obviously, when they are young they shed more often.

My gecko shed around once every 1-2 weeks when he was about 2 months old. After I got him back from my friend, he hasn't shed. My friend told me he didn't shed while my gecko was with him.

Herman left a bunch of it behind last time and I could tell by his coloring before he did it he was ready. I guess this is not always the case.

It depends on the geckos I think. I have some that shed every couple of weeks, some that shed about once a month and then there are the ones that I know shed but I never actually see it. My BBs never leave any skin behind.

I'll be looking for another one then.

I moisten his hide once a day.

I have only seen mine shed once. Granted I've only had her for about a month now. I was actually home sick from work that day so it was fascinating to watch her complete the process.

(I don't predict to witness many sheds only because she is about adult-size by now.)

Wow, you saw yours shed the second time!
My 2 geckos have shed probably 15 times combined (at least), and never have seen them do it. Great pic!

He's working it off now in his hide. The camera upset him I think. I'll quit with the pictures until he's through. I thought he looked pale this morning.

He doesn't seem to mind the shed. He's chasing crickets around as we speak.

Just a little left on his head. Is that always the last to go?

I gave him a really moist towel for his blanket and went to work.

Poor baby. I want to help, but it's better if he does it.

Looks like he's getting ready for another one. That's only a week.
