I have a gecko that's nearing 2 years in age right now, she's extremely fat. Not obese, but she's pear shaped and her tail is *huge* (nearly as thick as she is). She's a very healthy girl, and I supplement her with Rep-Cal D3 on both her feedings and Herpivite once weekly.
She only really wants food 2 times a week. Because of her picky eating, I feed her on Mon/Tues and Thurs/Fri. She eats a different amount of crickets depending on her mood... sometimes she only eats around 6 or so, and sometimes she eats 12+. If I offer her food more often than twice a week, she either doesn't eat anything at all, or eats 1 cricket after watching it run around in front of her for 20 minutes.
Should I be concerned? I've seen a few posts recently where people say they feed every day or every other day. Her warm side temperatures are kept at a steady 95.5-98.7, so warmth isn't an issue...
