How often

I will be getting a leo before too long (in less than 2 weeks) and have just 2 questions about feeding.

How often?
How much?

The leo that I am looking at is 33 grams and his birthday is 7/18/07. He is an albino. I will be feeding crickets and mealworms.

I just thought of another:

If I have a calcium dish (which I will) and I gutload the feeders with fruits, veggies, and cricket feed with calcium powder will I still need to dust the feeders?

I will definately have all of my questions answered before I decide to purchase a leo.

Thanks,

With mealworms, I like to leave a fair amount in a ceramic dish (sold at pet stores) at all times. Every day I will take out the worms that have not been eaten, and put hem back in the gutloading container. Then I grab DIFFERENT worms that have been gutloading, and fill up the bowl again. Like I said, I do this every day, so that theer is always a constant supply of fresh, gutloaded mealies available to them. If you do this you dont even need to offer crickets, but its always good to offer a variety, and they are alot of fun to watch hunt. I dumped in like a dozen crickets per gecko every week and they always ate them all. So, keep a constant supply of mealworms and offer crickets whenever. Just remember to take out any uneaten crickets after 15-30 min. so they dont bother the gecko. On this feeding scedule you'll have a nice healthy gecko!
