Ok so the new female we got definetly looks like shes prego, we got a belly shot of her just now. From looking at it how long would you say she has until she lays?

Looks about half way or a little farther along. Most of mine lay 21-30 days between clutches so you probably have about a week to 10 days. That's just a guess based on your pic though.

So the eggs are gone now, but she definetly didn't lay them, do you think she re-absorbed them? If so does that mean she is done laying eggs this season, or can I put her back with the male?

Thanks!

She might have reabsorbed them but that doesnt mean she is done laying. She might produce more. Leopard geckos store sperm, thats why they only need one fertilization per season so give her time, maybe like a month or so and see if she produces more eggs. It might be a good idea not to handle her so much because the stress might have made her reabsorb them. I am actually not sure she has reabsorbed them since I have no experience with this.

She might not produce more eggs if she is a first time female but you wont know unless you wait.

You could try reintroducing the male to her but watch out if she out right refuses then be ready to separate them.
