How to clean geckos tank

So I used to have a leopard gecko and it wasn't doing to good and he eventually passed away But now I'm looking to buy a new one and I just want to make sure I clean his tank so that anything that could have been contagious is sanitized. So my question is what should I use to deep clean my tank?

Thats what I told my mom I was going to do but she said the bleach smell wont come off and the fumes will make the gecko sick ect.

Make sure to dilute it (generally 10:1 water:bleach). And let it air out.

Give everything a good bleach soak.

Bleach will not kill everything that might infect a gecko.

they make a natural spray cleaner that kills almost everything and is pet safe.
