How to ethically prove?

I recently posted a thread and pictures of my buddies new gecko:

Still seems to be some confusion. It appears to be albino and patternless. I heard you guys say Tremper and Rainwater.

Now my question is how do I prove this and not be frowned upon by the community? Unless someone can look at that and give me a definite answer or we some how track down this breeder who supplied the vendor with this gecko I don't see any other way other than breeding. If I got a tremper and bred with her and she is not tremper I will have a bunch of het tremper and rainwaters. That's bad, from what I have gathered, and I understand the argument.

I could give/sell these babies away to friends and family, like a young niece or nephew, that I know have no interest in breeding. I would still remain in the ethical bounds, right? There is nothing harmful about a gecko that is het tremper and het rainwater, except muddy waters, yes?

I just want to know for sure so I know what we are dealing with if we ever did decide to breed her and can not think of another way to really know. Thoughts? Concerns? Be honest, I can take it.

I meant for the title to be "How to ethically prove?" but I guess I am looking for the ethnically and ethically way, kind of. :p

Do you have a good picture of his eyes? If there is a way to track down the breeder i would attempt that. I personally wouldnt mix strains but thats my personal beliefs. You could breed to a non albino and see what you get there.

Okay so if I got a consensus that it was Tremper and bred it to a Tremper I would not be frowned upon and unethical (to the community in general) for attempting it even if she turns out to be Rainwater and I place the babies in new homes with much discretion?

Christina, you mean breed to a non albino, then breed a son back to the mother or to a sister? That makes sense to me.. and kind of a simple solution, would just take a year longer or so :p

People would still frown upon it. Remember you would get around ten eggs. And they live a couple decades. There is no telling who will have them by then. I agree with breeding to pure like an afghan. In the future never buy a gecko without knowing it's albino strain. Even box pet stores can be het for an albino strain. Good luck.

You can do that but you would need to be prepared to hold back all or you run the risk of putting out a lot of potentially muddied offspring. Easiest would be to breed to a pure line and then your nt mixing strains

Is it a chain store gecko? If so odds are very much in favor of it being Tremper. I have a nice Tremper Patty that I picked up at Petco last year.

Yes, at the reptile show. I asked the vendor what it was and he said a blazing blizzard, I disagreed, and he said "Oh I don't know then"
Do you know the name of the vendor Dennis? Or his "company" name?
