i use eggshells as the leos main calcium source right now but when feeding time comes around the eggshells dont really stick to the mealworms and if i put them in a dish they dont move around as much on the powder and my leo isnt as interested =/ does anybody have any ideas on how i can make the eggshells stick to the mealworms?

My belief is that you do not need to dust feeders as long as you keep a dish of calcium and vitamins in with the leos. They lap it up when they need it.

Quite True..
As For Me,I Put Calcium Dish,Calcium w/d3 Dish,& Mix Of Calcium & Vitamins Dish On My Leos Tank..Total Of 3 Supplements Dish..:)
They Lap It Up Whenever They Need..:)
I Noe Most Leos Caresheet Teach Us To Dust Feeders & Put Calcium Dish In The Tank..
But,I Did Test..
Firstly,My Leos Wont Eat Any Dusted Feeders,Mealworm,Superworm,Crickets,Etc,Even If They Hungry..
If I Do Dust Feeders,They Chase But Soon,They Smell The Dusted Leos & Walk Away..
Den I Put Non Dusted Feeders,They Chase & Eat..
Den I Try Again Put Dusted Feeders,They Chase,Smell & Walk Away Again..
Finally i Put Non Dusted,& They Eat..
Its Works For Me,It Is Wat My Breeders Taught Me..

ok thanks ill start doing that. what i did yesterday was just put some crushed egg shells in my hand and put all the mealworms in my hand and he ate a little bit of the eggshells with it. i have a calcium dish in there i guess ill put a calcium dish with d3/vietamins in there too.

Lick the worm first then get the egg shell to stick on it :laugh4:

I think calcium powder is prolly a lot easier to use than egg shells and its not very exspensive :)

I dust my feeders with just calcium and have a dish in the tank with about 2/3 calcium and 1/3 calcium with d3 & vitamin all mixed together.

I read they can overdose on vitamins but not calcium so i wouldnt have just a dish with vitamins in incase they think "ooh this tastes better than the other one".

Plus mine dont really seem to like the vitamin one, dont know how it tastes but it stinks cheesy  I have to mix it for em to eat it.

They eat dusted stuff fine and sometimes i think it helps them to realise something is food if im trying them with something for the first time :)
