How to heat an incubation container

Hi,

I was wondering what the best heat source is for an incubation container. Also what level should the humidity be at?

the best way to incubate reptile eggs is in a hovabator , it has it's own heat source and thermostat to regulate temps in the unit and you can put water in the bottom to raise your humidity . but if you are talking about homemade incubator then i would say heat tape with a thermostat is the best way to heat it .
