I have put them in ceramic, glass and Tupperware dishes....the mediums are still escaping here and there.

I need the dish to be clear to some point as my little girl doesnt see them or try to hunt until she does see them. So, I have them in a 4x4x1 inch clear Tupperware dish. She can see them and crawl in and out for hunting but some of the Dubia's still escape.

Does anyone have any suggestions?????

One great way to make sure they don't escape is to pull their legs, and leave only 1 or 2 so they still move and excite your geckos.

I rep this thing every chance I get. I'm gonna end up with about 100 of them. Clear, rubberized bottom, comes apart if needed for cleaning, coooool colors :)

I just found some small condiment dishes at the dollar store, they're about an inch high (maybe a little higher), but not see through. I just put rocks leading to it, and my leo climbs the rocks to get to the food.

This is what I do when I feed lateralis; I pull off their back legs. This is the only way I can keep them in a dish.

Pulling off thier back legs????? Not only is there no way I could do that but I have a hard time just knowing I will be feeding them to the Gecko's (yes, ridiculous as it is, I am getting attached to the bugs). LOL!

Wowoklol - gonna go ahead and try the bowl. I thought about it after you brought it up in another thread but wanted to check to see if anyone else had any suggestions but thus far - yours is the best.

I will be sure to post an update with my experiance!

That bowl wowoklol linked works well btw. Oh and pulling off the legs is my method as I don't put them in a bowl, I drop them in and let my leo catch it. But I have a couple of slow mofos that don't like to chase after things that run fast. So to accommodate them I pull the legs off dubias roaches (same with pulling hind legs off crickets).

Works for me, and the geckos seem happy :D

Just don't start naming the bugs and put together a condo for them to live in luxury :)
