Okay guys, new to this site so HI! lol anyways i made a humid hide in my geckos terrarium, i think it is extremely inferior and something must be done! First of all.. im using crushed walnut which after reading one of these threads I will be replacing ASAP (youll see it in the pictures). But my moist hide is a small tupperware container kind of buried in the "sand" with a hide over it... it just seems super uncomfortable for him to use... any suggestions? oh and please critique my tank if you see something wrong with it, I am a brand new gecko owner I know much more about ball pythons.

thanks guys

I use naked one quart square tupperware for my geckos that are kept alone. They love them. I think as long as there is room for him to get in and out and turn around easily it should be fine. They're surprisingly good climbers and I was almost surprised when I started keeping leos that they can climb up and down the 4 inch tall containers with no issue. They just look to chunky and squatty to climb well...haha. For those of mine kept in bigger bins I use the ziplock casserole ones. Theyre about 10x5x3 inches and better for 2+ geckos or geckos over 80g.
