how to pick my leo up

im just wundring how i should go about picking my leo up and handaling him.
or should i let him come to me?
i got him on wensday so im all so wundring how long i ahould wait befor handaling him.

You didnt mention how old he is.It is best to gently touch his tail so he knows your there or put your hand in front of him so he knows its u and then gently scoop him up from under his bellyI wouldnt pick him up for a week.After a week put your hand in and just let him get used to your hand for 5 minutes and do that for a week and then gradually increase the time..Also when u feed him let him see your hand release the food item in the enclosure so he can connect your hand with food.
