You can keep them in the fridge most of the time and take out one day a week to feed so they will last longer.

For gutloading, figure out about how many your gecko eats and take out that many 1-2 days before you want to feed the gecko. Put them in a little container with some healthy gutloading foods and let them eat. In a couple days, you will have yummy, gutloaded worms.

If you can, buy small batches (50-100) that will last maybe a week or so. If you don't mind sticking them in the fridge, what Indyana suggests is perfect for larger counts of mealies or for leo's who may not be eating as frequently.
