My husband is being Re-stationed in November. Most likely cross country again. This of course means max a 6-7 day drive Plus another Month- a month 1/2 before we get our belongings as the Army will be moving us.

Now I planned on taking at least a 10 gallon and everything to set it up with us so that they could have housing once we got to out destination.

My question is this, would it be smarter to just adopt them out then subject them to the stress of a move that big?
I REALLY have grown attached and hate the thought of not having them so if I could move them and it wouldnt kill them what would be the best way to do that with minimal stress? Im asking these questions now so I know what to do more than at the last minute.

You're going to need two 10 gal tanks by then, one for each of them.

Are you driving? If so you can put them each in a deli cup and place those in a styrofoam cooler with a heat pack or small UTH. I travel every summer with 30+ leos 1k miles (one way)and back, they have all done very well doing it this way.
