if you didn't already guess, i'm samthebigkid and i'm new here.

I currently am a White's Tree Frog owner who has caught a keen interest in Leopard Geckos. Basically I'm seeking advice on how to keep good care of one. I'm not looking for any of the fancy morphs, just plain old normal geckos. I'd like advice to whether it should be fine get one at a chain Pet Store (ex: Pet Supplies Plus), a local owned store, or if I should seek breeders?
Thanks
-Sam

Hi Sam. Welcome to the forum. IN would start off by doing just what you are doing- researching geckos. There are alot of great posts on here that can tell you just what you need to know. IN MY OPINION- I would try and get one from a breeder when I was ready to buy. Most breeders can tell you everything that you need to know about the animal that you are getting and you know exactly what you are getting. There are also alot of people on here that sell affordable geckos. Best wishes and beware they seem to be highly addictive, LOL!!!!
