Huge Weight Gain

So, I purchased a male Emerine het Raptor from a breeder at a reptile expo on July 28th who at the time weighed 67g. Within a month of having him he gained 18g. He currently weighs 83g(he just shed two days ago). Is this weight gain normal? He shows no signs of being overweight and was healthy when I got him.

I am unsure of his bloodlines and I don't know if he is from the Ron Tremper bloodline. I also forgot to mention that he was a full grown adult when I purchased him.

I would get with the Breeder and find out any other Genetic information you can. If you took the time to purchase it at a reptile show and the breeder is reputable they should be more than willing to give you as much information they have. A picture would also be nice so people can see your Leo and weigh in with opinions.
