Humid Hide Idea

Just wanted to share how I have my humid hides set up so they stay humid for days with out having to mist them.
I put about an inch or more of smooth aquarium rock in the bottom, then fill it in with sand so it is even and comfortable for them to lie on. Then, add enough water so that the sand is wet and firm - it's too wet when the sand gets kind of jiggly. Then I put a layer of paper towel over the sand - I usually don't need to wet the paper towel, since it will soak up the moisture from the sand. It stays nice and moist for days! I usually re-wet the sand every 3 or 4 days, but I think it would take a week before it would dry up. I had tried a similar set up minus the sand but with sphagnum moss on top of the paper towel, but stuff seemed to grow in there after a day or so. They seem to like this set up much better anyways!
I guess the only downside is that if your leo likes to move his humid hide around, this set up would be way too heavy to allow that...
