Keep it moist so it actually serves it's purpose and so she'll be more comfortable in there. It might not be big enough to her liking or maybe the male is too possesive of it. I know that with my two females, if one of them is in the humid hide, the other won't go in. I think it's a territorial issue. They don't fight or anything, they just like to respect eachother's space. Maybe that's your same problem.

You might want to get a second humid hide just in case. Check your temps where your humid hide is. If it's too hot or cold she may feel uncomfortable in there and not want to lay her eggs. Also, what is the substrate in the humid hide?

I use peat moss, some others use vermiculite. You can even use moist paper towel, but I find that it doesn't stay moist for very long. The reason I asked is because the females will want to be able to dig around in the humid hide to lay their eggs. Obviously, if it's paper towel they can't do that.

For younger geckos I use paper towels, then for the bigger ones (20grams+) I use choir

Try using sphagnum moss in the new hide.
My female likes the moss to dig and then lay here eggs in.
Also make sure it is warm and moist inside.
