Just got some leos from a breeder.I want to put the humid hide on the warm end.Right now I have wet overlapping paper towel with an upside down styrofoam container but Im finding it dries out real quick.Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use that retains heat well.

Anything put on the warm side will dry out more quickly than on the cool side. You might try putting a few more paper towels in the hide and crumple them up instead of laying them flat - less surface area should reduce evaporation a bit. A smaller opening (if possible) in the moist hide will also reduce evaporation. I place my moist hides half on and half off the heat pad so they dry out a little bit slower and the gecko can choose a slightly warmer or cooler temperature if they want.
