Leopard geckos should have a humid hide available 24/7. They use it to stay hydrated as well as helping with shedding. Bacteria should not be an issue as long as waste isn't left in there or the bedding is never changed.

However, since this is in "site issues" section, I don't know what kind of gecko you have. Please post questions in the appropriate section so people can better help you.

Sorry to bother you again but I'm setting up my leopard gecko cage and the temp is staying on 80 f. What should I do to make it warmer

Keep your responses to one post please. Easier to respond to one post instead of three.
One night lamp I turn on at night and a day one both bulbs are 50 watts and I'm reading it by farenhight
Is the daytime bulb a basking bulb, I assume? That's not much heat, though it does depend on your enclosure and the ambient temps in your room. But I would suggest getting a 10-20 gallon UTH. If your enclosure isn't warm enough, you have two basic options: add another heat source or replace one current heat source with a stronger one. Since leos use belly heat to digest their food, you should add a UTH (under tank heater). That should be enough to get your proper temperatures.

Also, I meant what kind of thermometer you're using. That's important in knowing whether the temperatures you're getting are accurate. Is it digital, dial, or strip?
