So im breeding some mealworms ( about a 1000) and when i went to get the little pupa this morning i noticed some dew in the corner of the tub on the side with a bunch of the mealies clustered together near there. Should i be worried?

Alot of my mealies tend to cluster in the corners of the tub for some reason. I consider that normal. The condensation can produce mold which is no good. Not knowing how you house them, I would suggest making sure they have plenty of ventilation to keep them as dry as possible. I have never had any moisture issues but I use oats as my bedding and the only moisture that they come in contact with is a few carrots every 3-5 days.

+1 to what Brad said. If you see condensation you probably need to drill a few more ventilation holes or make sure you're not gong overboard with the veggies. I cut a hole out of the lid for my mealworm beetle container and put in a screen to maximize air flow. Mine also group up in the corners. No idea why.

Same here with the groups in the corners. I put a 3/16" hole every 1/4" all the way around the top of my drawers in my colony. I also "stir" everything around every other day to keep rotating bedding up to fresh air. Help it stay dry.

Moisture surely can cause a mold problem. I'm not sure what type of substrate you are using for bedding however high humidity levels can also cause any possible grain pests to flurish. Alot of people get their wheat bran from a feed store and more than likely has a few grain pests in them. If so simply store some of what you plan on using for bedding in the freeze a 3-4 days prior to using and it will take care of any of those pesky grain pests. Relative humidity around 65% and above is when grain pests really flurish.

Im not saying you have any or will get them but just something to keep in mind. Its always better to prevent in the first place.

Some people chose to bake their substrate however heat can destroy the nutritional values badly.

As the above listed a few more vent holes wont hurt :)
