I was wondering what are the odds of our leos going on a hunger strike?

I read about male leos passing away from not wanting to eat after breeding. I also read that leos simply stop eating for no reason. I've only had my leos for about two years now with no strikes but I wanted to know what to look out for in case it happens.

Usually there is a reason for them to stop eating. Not always bad either. They could just be full, or burmation has kicked in. If they stop eating you will know. Just watch them if they do stop. They can go for months without eating much if any food and not lose but a gram. I had one male, gain weight during the winter time and maybe ate a handful of supers in three months.

I had one of mine go on one for about 3 weeks, she stayed fat most of the time but right before she started eating again I was ready to take her to the vet, then I tried her on mealies and she gobbled down 9 of them and has been fat and healthy and eating ever since.
