my leo is having some tail problems.
yesterday it looked as if my leo rubbed her tail against something a little to hard on one part of it(kind of like if u skin ur knee, u can see flesh but no blood)
then this morning she was actually bleeding a little!

Here is my setup
bout 92 degreees warm side, and room temp on cold side.
housed on paper towels
housed alone
and has 2 hides

She shed 2 days ago so I thought either stuck shed or she bite herself getting it off. I guess I was wrong. I tried getting any shed off that I couldnt see but nothing happend. Now I don't think she bite herself due to it being worse..

Any advice? Do you think this calls for a vet visit? Because really money doesn't matter but I don't see what a vet can do for me.

I would try taking her to the vet, just to be on the safe side. Sounds like she just bit at some irritating stuck shed, I've had my geckos do that before. However, mine all get soaks when they get down to the last of their shed to prevent this kind of thing. Good luck!

My female had the same thing happen. The very tip of her tail hardened up.After 2-3 sheds it fell off.It was the very tip.U cant tell now since its healed.Instead of a pointed tip it is slightly rounded
