I caved in...

I made the mistake of spoiling a rescue I acquired in Oct. by dropping meal worms in front of her and not making her eat from a dish. I decided I was going to force her to eat on her own. OK so she won this round, after a week of her not eating I caved in and fed her this morning. I could tell she was hungry the way she was attacking the worms. How long should I let her go on her own before I cave in again?

do you have your mealies in a clear dish? i know my first leo couldnt find the mealies in the ceramic dish i had...so i put them in a clear plastic dish so she could see them better....she tried attacking them through the dish, lol, it was so funny, she hit her nose on the side of the dish and looked very angry.

buy anywho...yeah, maybe try a small clear plastic or glass dish and see if she can find them better
