I'm currently working on a project. I'd like to make a second story in my 10 gal tank.
Someone told me to get a plastic cutting bored. But then they didnt give me any idea on how to do anything else. I don't know how to mount it in the cage. Or how my lizard would even get up on it.
It would be best if I could use things I already have, considering I have no money right now. Haha, I have some stuff that may work, I could use some help on how to do it, and some ideas.
thanks in advance.

attach legs, make sure they're steady, and get a piece of plank sanded down wood thats safe for leos and attach. hot glue gun for attaching things.

My second level is made out of cardboard and has bamboo legs. I got the bamboo from my garden. I'm not sure if it will be very easy finding bamboo where you live. If not, I guess you can use the core of a toilet paper roll. Then I got another piece of cardboard and I pasted a paper towel on one side so my gecko could grip the 'ramp'. Then I put the ramp against the second level so he could walk up. I used a hot glue as an adhesive. But beware, after I made the second level, my gecko didn't want to come down anymore. Hope this helps. Good luck building a second level.

I have bamboo in my back yard, and lots of it!
Thanks for the ideas, this shouldn't be too hard. I'll try bamboo, and if that fails to work, I can try a toilet paper roll.

I made mine with a piece of plywood and a straight branch from outside that I cut. I baked all the wood to kill anything that was in it first. The ramp is actually a hamster product from the petstore that I got for $5 and attached to one end. My guys prefer to just scale the wooden legs though. They have no problem getting up.

Thats awesome! Haha.

Well, I stayed up until about 1:00 last night doing his cage. And I thought it wasnt that great and he wouldn't get on it, so I planned on watching him today to see if he got up, if he didn't I'd take it down.
but I woke up, and he was in the hide on the second floor thingy.
So thanks so much for the help guys!
