I don't know what this is.

Hey guys, I bought this at a pet store because I thought he/she looked kind of cool, like desert camo. I was told that it was a normal, standard leo with a jungle pattern and paid for such. Here is the thing, as the Leo is getting older it is changing color. The yellow has left it almost entirely, the spots are vanishing and its stripes are darkening as well. The Leo's whole body is either tan, or brown, and even the tail is darkening to tan.

What is this Leo? Is it a weird gene combo I haven't seen before or something else? I can't find a brown leo anywhere on the net.

Thanks guys.

I can't say with certainty what morph this is, but if they're this dark they may be cold. What type of set up are you using? It looks like they may be some type of hypo though, maybe even a snow? I can't say for sure though, especially when they're so dark.
Also a bit off topic but if that's loose sand I would highly advise switching for a non loose substrate such as tile, paper towel, or reptile carpet.

Her and my Diablo Blanco have a 20 gallon long, it has a warm side and a cool side. Also the substrate I use is a combination of reptile carpet and zoomed excavator, it lets me build caves etc. I wouldn't ever put her on sand, I am paranoid about compaction.

Snow? Interesting, I hadn't considered that because when I look up jungle pattern snows the bands are always clearly outlined in black, which she lacks.

Check your ground temp this gecko looks cold which will cause darkening. I would consider it a normal
