hey guys, i am really paranoid about putting my three breeders together after the male almost took one of the girls legs off ( its just a scar now ) and im afraid of a repeat. i now have a 4 ten gallon tanks and i dont have any bigger ones right at the moment so, should i wait another year or take the risks?

gecko sex is rough, sometimes animals are damaged.
i don't recall hearing of any deaths though, and don't see many 3-legged breeders so i typically give it no thought. if i hear them rolling around, flopping about in the bins i think to myself, "there's another mating, kewl."

so, if you want perfect animals, don't put them together. if you want to breed geckos i think you're going to have to accept that there will be blood sometimes.
