I feel really horrible, will she be okay?

I was holding my leo as usual, and I sat down on my bed with her, and she started waging her tail at my blanket, I slowly raised my hand to scratch my shoulder (my leo was on the opposite hand) and she just bolted off my hand onto the floor with this sickening splat, it was a 2 foot drop, I picked her up and the tip of her tail was jerking uncontrollably, but I put her back in her terrarium, and she seems ok, I think she hurt her right back leg, for a few minutes it looked weird. Is there a high chance she'll be okay? Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk

Nothing you can do right now. Let her be over night, let her calm down and take a look at her in the morning. Try to observe her in the viv before going in to pic her up. Honestly if you can try to get her in a gladware container with the top on before you take her out. She may be extra skittish!

And don't feel horrible just learn from the experience its happened to all of us Im sure!

I've held her many times though, I've had her for a year and she's the calmest gecko I've ever seen, I just don't get why this happened

Famous Last words...She's never done that before! :p Always expect the unexpected, and learn from those unexpected moments. :)

Jeeze, mine must be a survivor! Mine has taken dives off of my hands at heights of up to 4+ feet and she just plops on the ground, looks around and walks it off XD
