well I got my first hatchling just about an hour ago. Its a sunglow x sunglow (both the parents are 5 stars directly from craig). I have moved the hatchling to the hatchling tube in my rack. I lined the bottom of the tube with a damp paper towl and added a small hide. I also added a small soda cap with water. I am going to wait until the first shed before I feed correct? how long is the first shed? I will get pics up if anybody is interested. thanks

Pretty baby! Congrats!!! First shed in 2-3 days, she should eat it and you will see some proof of this in the tub (poo) and then you can start to feed her.

Congrats on the new addition. I am waiting on my first set of Sunglows from TUG to add to my collection, can't wait. Please post more photos when you get a chance to share with us.

thanks for the replies. I am still excited. I have had terrible luck with leopard gecko eggs over the past 2 years. 8 of my females have laid a total of 30 infertile eggs and only 2 good ones. I am still waiting for the other egg to hatch anytime. I will try to get a pic up from the parents. The Parents are AWESOME. They are 2 of TUGs best from last year. I paid a pretty penny for them (actually I bought 6 of craigs 5 star sunglows). So I am hoping these babies are just as nice as mom and dad. On a sad note I have lost 2 wheeleris in the last 5 days. I am done with that wheeleri project. I gave my lone wheeleri male to a fellow hobbiest. I am just sticking with sunglos now. I will get some more pics up today.

Update: Sorry I have not updated this thread. My second egg hatched exactly 24 hours after the first egg. The second hatchling in not as orange as the first but still going to be an awesome adult. I will try to get more pics up this evening of the pair.

Very nice. That box seems extremely long!

Na its not that long really. I just think the angle of the pic makes it look longer than what it is. Its just a typical hatchling tub from Vision. They are actually growing pretty quick and might need a jump in a few weeks to a full tub.
