Oh yeah! :D My Tremper Albino female, with the circle back pattern, laid two little eggs! She's been driving me nuts for days... And then she finally lays them! My incubator is all set up and ready, temp set at 81.

And now the the questions...

Is there anything special I should do for the female now, besides making sure she has plenty of calcium?

Will she lay more fertile eggs without being reintroduced to the male?

Will she be more friendly now that she's not gravid? She's a real meanie! Lunges at me when I enter the cage. :main_no:

Thanks!!

Never even saw this post. Hey Abby. We should be shipping your gecko out this week if FedEx will let us. You can never really say if a female will lay more fertile clutches but it is a very good possibility. Everyone says differently but you should breed the female back to the male every three or four clutches. All you can do for your female is leave her with enough calcium and also dust her food as well. She will put the weight on herself. You should see some more eggs in about 2 weeks. The females usually go through an eating binge after they lay their clutches. Just keep an eye on her. You got eggs so you must be doing somthing correctly.

She has been eating a LOT since she laid. I've been giving her plenty of calcium too.

I can't wait to get my new girl! Thanks :D
