Well, since I got three babies at the local show last month (and went thinking I was only going to get one) I had to get this girl who'd been living at the local pet shop since she was a little thing (think they got her in about 4-5 months ago as a hatchling). I saw her a few times when I'd go to buy crickets at said store.

She was living with a snow bell girl in a too-small display box, who was bullying her over food. Thus she has a fair amount of little dinks taken out of her armor, but her attitude seems no worse for the wear really. Neosporin is clearing that up nicely. I was always impressed with her carrot tail over the last few months... and figured I could give her a better deal than she was stuck with.

Say hello to Pumpkin.

Said store is where I got my first leopard gecko, Valentine, who is a real stand-up, stand-out, calm SHTCT boy. He warmed up to her right away, and she to him as well (under a careful and hawkishly monitored introduction to each other, of course). This is them together (Val = 80+ grams, Pumpkin = 45g):

And a comparison shot of their carrot tails:

I love me them tangerines...

@Timothy: I see wut you did thar.

@roger: Yes, she was monitored for any health issues prior to introduction to Valentine.

A question for anyone that breeds tangerines, as far as line-breeding of carrot tails goes, what would you expect to see percentage-wise from these two if they made babies? Something in-between her full-coverage and his 1/3rd, or even better than hers? The latter right?
