Sigh , I Remmebered when i went to buy hamster at this store *****. i just seen 2 geckos. Mack Snow and Normal. They have been there at store pretty long. Nobody buys them. Now they add more leos.

For this year ...
They also hold 5 geckos in 1 gallon tank each, but it is too small.
they barely move.

Also they put live crickets in their tanks.
they do have water dishes and hides.
but not enough room for each leos. :main_no:
they smell awful and have like 6 poops each tank. but no people to clean them. they could make money.

i think morphs is

Brown leo and Mack Snow Leo and Normal,
Snow White leo. Also Sunglow leo.

but they are in bad conditions, some have skinny tails.

Can you believe that?!

They cost 74 dollars each?!?!
This Brown Leo have no left feet! That made me sad :(

I wish to buy them all to get them out of here. :( i felt bad for all guys. They dont desersve to live in like that! 1 leo in 1 gallon glass tank with water dish , hide and no humid hide? and live crickets left in leo's tank? Is that what they treat them like that?
Oh Yesterday, i went to get some crickets, i went to see only 4 tanks but where's 5th? :( probably poor guy died.

OH! Day Gecko in 1 gallon too and dumpy tree frogs. Most are in 1 gallons.
*each*

Some 20 gallon long for beardies and water dragons. They were stacked up. I cannot believe that.

this ***** makes me angry.

I would not go to that pet store anymore, find some other place to spend your money.

I agree, by buying from that pet store you are supporting this kind of treatment to reptiles. Best find yourself another pet store to shop at.

I hear this kind of thing happens allot, not just in the US but quite often in the UK. Obviously not all pet stores there are like this and in some cases may be a lack of education in witch case they have no business selling them but its seems this ignorant approach to housing reptiles is pretty widespread. Sad, but true.

I am glad its not like that here. The local pet superstore i go to for crickets , sand and other reptile equipment is great.

All staff in the reptile section really do know their stuff, i have' talked to them on a number of occasions and inspected their tanks and the reptiles are all in great health, multiple hides, 1 or more water dish, plenty of space etc

And yes they are on sand and they too agree with those of us including myself that have and always will use sand in that its just hyped up misconceptions based on rumors and untruths. If you use proper husbandry, make sure they are well hydrated and looked after properly you will never have an issue.

Just my 2c -

Darren.
