I have a sloooow gecko

Can someone please tell Flecko that he's nocturnal?? My odd little buddy likes to be awake and active during the day and sleep at night. If he went to gecko school, he'd definitely ride the short bus!


Does anyone else have a gecko that does this??




Oh, and yes he can tell when it is night/day. The room is pretty bright during the day (he's not in direct sunlight though), and aside from his heat lamp (with a blue/purpleish bulb), there is no other light in the room at night

well we've found and I've done some reading that suggest that although Leos' are by enlarge are nocturnal; many captive bred Leos can become\adapted to become Diurnal (active during the day) I have a few adults that are quite busy during the day, walking around and even eating. This tends to happen more with my adults than juves and hatchlings.

I have a number of geckos that are fairly active during the day. I was going to say non-albinos, but one of my most active ones is an LVPA!

Have similar gecko's here but that may be because I have the rare social breed. Everyone say Leopard Geckos are not social (anti-social) lol , don't like to climb, sleep at night etc...

Mine do totally the opposite of all that mentioned above.
