I got my right nostril pierced about a month ago. About a week ago it got infected. I was trying to get it to heal. Two days ago this bump formed next to it. I called the shop I got it done at and the guy told me the bump was a keloid and to crush an aspirin, add water, and apply the paste twice a day for 30 mins. He said it would heal up quickly that way

So here I am with a big glob of aspirin paste on the side of my nose :main_rolleyes:

eek. keloids are teh suxxorz. I have had my nose pierced no less then 13 times and counting hahah. Its an easy to play with location, What you using to clean it with? if you arent doing saline soaks, you need to. And pick up some Dr. Bronners soap, its magic on piercings. Also, If you are sensative to metal, you might think of switching to glass jewelry, I am really sensative, and I find it helps with all my easily irritated piercings.

Yea, I'm cleaning around it with saline solution, then soaking it for 2 minutes in saline. I'm also doing the aspirin paste

I'm not new to piercings in general; just new to the nostril one lol
