A few days ago i noticed my juv. was striking at the tongs i feed him with.I thought it was nothing so i just continued tong feeding. But today i was feeding him and he did it again. my friend was there and asks if he does that to my fingers. I put my finger in the tank and he bit it. does this happen alot? also is there any way for me to break his habit?

The gecko is not biting for any reason other than it thinks you are feeding it.

do you handle him at all ? he may be associating each time you open the cage with feeding time and he's striking at the first thing he sees. I've had snakes do this in the past.
I personally don't use tongs except for the occasional cricket thats wiley. I try to handle them for a few minutes each other day or so, that way they get used to my hands coming in the cage.
