So I tried to start a cricket colony 4-5 days ago ad what I have is 20-30 gallon plastic bin with all the adult/breeder crix in it. And a ten gallon tank seperated in two by a piece of cardboard, on one side I have the juvienile/feeder crickets and on the other I have the tupperware bin where my breeders laid eggs incubating under a heat lamp.
Well, the tank didnt come with a lid so I have two flaps of cardboard attached to either side of the main piece so that it opens and closes with the divider as the center-point. Well there is a flaw in the cardboard idea so there are random juvi crickets in the incubating side and random juvi crockets rnning allover my house, but suprisingly only one juvi left in the juvi tank:main_angry:. So I come to you as infinitly smarter individuals to see if you can help me solve this issue. I was hoping I could somehow mive them into the larger breeder bin so I can use the 10 gallon for myleos
but I can only see this ending messily.
